Although the companies making these crayon eye thingymabobs have much better marketing terms that "sticks for colouring your eyes in with" that is essentially what these are. I have been using Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow stick in shade 002 bulletproof beige and Collection Work the Colour eyeshadow pencil in shade 3 Vintage Blush.
At the minute as it is so lovely and warm in Ireland (shocking, the cows don't know what to make of it) I don't really want to have loads of makeup on my eyes..however...I am very squinty in the sunshine and need something to make me look less, well, asleep. To do this I have been rubbing on a bit of the Rimmel Scandaleyes, popping a golden/bronze colour eyeshadow from an MUA pallete over the top and a matte brown in the corner and through the crease. This really makes the eyes stand out a bit more than normal. A quick curl of the lashes, lick of mascara and away I go. Easy as pie.
I do feel that although these need to be blended a bit which removes some of the pigment, they are super duper easy to use and definitely worth a few quid, especially if you're going on holiday and want a quick wash of colour before going to dinner or such like.
Well that was quick wee post to bring me back into the swing of things, Uni has been a bit crazy and I did a summer project during June (I don't even know why...). Although I wish I could now say I'm off to sip Pina Colada on a beach somewhere, I am infact going to do the dishes....Toodlepip!
